Lewis to Browns, McGahee a Raven

Here is some news that will directly impact all fantasy football participants.

Jamal Lewis is known for giving at least two great performances a year, whether they happen or don't (last year, for example, they didn't...but then again, last year he wasn't much of a factor at all). What are they? The two games he plays against the Browns. Released by the Ravens, he goes and signs with the Browns, not only losing that match up but guaranteeing himself two meetings VS. his former team and their ridiculous defense. Good job, Jamal...

Good job.

Meanwhile, the Ravens score McGahee for a third and seventh rounder this year, plus another third rounder next year. Score. This was an easy trade to make, at least for the Ravens. This is a huge upgrade over Jamal, nine touchdowns last year or not. I know he was hurt, but there is no denying that he is slower than ever. Running backs don't stay on top for long, and sure McGahee had an off year last year, but just imagine him running behind Ogden and company. He's young, got a new chip on his shoulder, a new contract, and he is ready to go. Get ready fantasy ballers, there's a back in Baltimore who requires your consideration.

And honestly, don't forget about Jamal. He will come back healthier and hopefully, hopefully help lead that Browns offense into the end zone. He's a big back who can take some pressure off Frye and the receivers. Also, I hope the Browns use him out of the flat, as that was something the Ravens, for the most part, refused to do.

Anyway, the off season continues. We definitely needed this after that terrible NBA deadline too.
