Redemption

This is why I love sports so much.

Watching the Knicks game last night, totally cursing at Steve Francis, I'm booing him at the bar, every time he touches the ball I feel like punching someone in the face. He was having an all right game I guess, but down the stretch he just messed up. Bad. Technical foul in a close game, one point. 24 seconds left in the game, gets called for a lane violation. All right, good effort--but it cost us points to tie. Then, 7 seconds left, misses a free throw to tie...

But then, even as I'm yelling don't shoot don't shoot, he pulls up and swishes in the game winning three. Oh the humanity. Steve Francis? I'm you're number one fan...

And that's why I love sports.
